Updated ATFS Database User Manual
The user manual was updated to reflect improved functionality of the database and improved instructions. With more visuals and step by step instuctions this can answer most database questions.

Database Clean Up
Sometimes the database gets a bit messy and requires a some clean up. If you state committee is embarking on this task these documents will be a massive help! Your regional manager can assist you in doing mass changes to your Tree Farmer population in ATFS. Having issues opening these files? Read this thread.
Things that can be done on a mass scale:
- Decertifications [xls]

- Tree Farm details (location, acreage,etc) changes [xls] Guidance for this sheet [word]
- Splitting of Larger Tree Farms into individual Tree Farms [xls] Guidance for this sheet [word]
- Transferring Tree Farms to Pioneer Status [xls]
These mass scale changes incur a financial charge to ATFS so they are reserved only for med-large jobs. We will turn you away if its only small handful of changes that can be done manually!
Upload 021 PDF into ATFS Database
How to use upload feature of new 021. [PDF] Intended for administrators and Inspectors. Details about the upload feature and other 021 submission options are outlined.
Things to keep in mind when using upload
- Everyone, including inspectors, is welcomed to use the upload feature. Feel free to advertise the tool with this flyer [PDF] Alternate Version [JPG]
- The inspector must be assigned to the property beforehand in order for the upload to work. It is best to give the inspector a pre-populated PDF for use.
- Email the PDF to inspectors@forestfoundation.org with the subject line Upload021 in order to begin upload process.
- Any errors in the PDF, such as missing required information, will prevent the PDF from being uploaded.
- You may CC yourself or others to retain copies.
- You may attach multiple PDFs to one email for submission.

A. All state administrators and district chairs can answer this question if asked by an inspector. Updating inspector usernames and passwords.

A. Multiple PDFs may be emailed in at once for submission. There may be file size limits to what your email may hold though.

A. You can easily download the list of properties that have been tagged in these samples on the ATFS database. Here is how.
Q10. An inspector wants to submit a paper version of the No Harassment policy. How can that be done?
A. As of September 2017, Volunteers are no longer required to sign the No Harassment Policy. For more information read our No Harassment FAQ.
