Wild Turkey Woodlands: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
Join us for a presentation on the history of wild turkeys in the United States, wild turkey biology, and management suggestions for forest landowners.
Presented by Donnie Buckland, the Private Lands Manager with the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). He received a B.S.degree in Forestry (1972) and a M.S.in Wildlife Management (1974) from Virginia Tech. Prior to coming to NWTF, he worked for Mead-Westvaco, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Quail Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.
