Q: How Can ATFS Inspectors and Tree Farmers be recognized for their outstanding work?
A:Every year, ATFS recognizes a few exceptional foresters and landowners who make this program remarkable. The Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year award recognizes Tree Farmers who have done an exceptional job of forest management on their properties as well as contributions to promoting sustainable forestry. Read about this year’s OTFY Nominees. Nominations for this award are received in January of each year. Additionally, every year we also recognize a few outstanding inspectors with the Outstanding Inspector of the Year awards. Any ATFS Inspector can be nominated for this award with approval from their state chairperson. Nominations for this award will be accepted in the fall.
