Forest landowners wishing to apply restricted use pesticides on their property must be licensed as a Private Pesticide Applicator. University of Minnesota Cooperative Extension – Pesticide Safety Program http://www.extension.umn.edu/pesticides/private.html Oversees testing for the Private Pesticide Applicator Certification. Their website has links to study manuals for the exam and a link to take the exam online. If you prefer to mail in the exam, you can pick up a copy at most local extension offices. Cooperative Extension also offers classes for recertification (which is required every 3 years). |
