General Forestry Course: This course is designed to teach individuals about understanding forests and forest management. This course is available in two formats – online and in print. Maryland-Delaware Master Logger Program: This is a voluntary training program for loggers in Maryland and Delaware. The course teaches current environmental regulations, forestry principles and safe work practices.
Maryland Woodland Stewards: The Maryland Woodland Stewards program is a multi-day event where tree farmers can learn the latest forest and wildlife management practices. This is accomplished through classroom teaching and outdoor sessions. The program teaches, and encourages advocacy for, forest and wildlife stewardship.
