2016 Regional Inspector of the Year

Jonathan Sloan was named the Regional Inspector of the Year at the American Tree Farm System National Leadershp Conference at Seattle, WA. Our first Wyoming Inspector to receive the Regional Inspector award. The Wyoming Tree Farm Committee extends their gratitude for Jonathan and his hard work in delivering good stewardship on the ground this year. 

When ask what the value of Ameridan Tree Farm System meant to him.  Jonathan said "ATFS provides myself and all other foresters a powerful tool that we can use to promote sustainability, resource utilization and conservation of forestland.  Through Tree Farm Stewardship management plans landowners gain valuable information on how they can manage their forests, gain direction and guidance and by following the guidelines for certification they insure that they are doing the very best job they can."
