Grassroots Action Committee

ATFS and its National Public Affairs Committee (NPAC) are experiencing exciting times as the American Forest Foundation transitions into a new and more vibrant organization designed to better serve America’s family forest landowners.

NPAC, a committee of the ATFS National Operating Committee (NOC), is chartered to review and investigate federal policies, legislation, rules, and regulations the may impact forest management on U.S. family forestlands.

ATFS and NPAC regularly monitors national legislation that may affect private landowners and represents their members on Capitol Hill at meetings and hearings and through testimony before committees.
