About Us

The American Tree Farm System, a program administered by the American Forest Foundation, is delivered on the ground by a collective of partners at the local, state, regional, and national level. This nationwide network consists of landowners committed to adhering a standardized and uniform set of sustainable forest management practices that assure the provision of wood supplies, wildlife habitat, recreational opportunities, and clean water. 

ATFS strives to be a conduit for the tools, resources, and connections these landowners need to make their visions a reality while affirming their work through national, regional, and peer-to-peer recognition.
